AND/OR – A denim revolution on the high-street

There is a new new wave of denim launching on the high-street that you need to know about. I was positively surprised, and might I add, quite excited when I heard the news. AND/OR is set to be your go-to for modern denim and everything that goes with it (that obviously stands for white tees, knits and all easily pairable separates alike). But wait for it, the contemporary collection that oozes breezy Cali girl vibes (and is actually crafted, washed and sewn on the American West coast), is exclusively available at John Lewis.

Carrying everything from underwear to shoes, the collection is crafted with the easiest formula (the cue is in the name): simply jeans, a tee and or a cotton blouse, add a denim jacket, tassel pumps and/or a leather tote – you get the drill.

Boldly taking a stab at the saturated denim market, it all comes down to the fit, something that LA-based designer duo Calvin and Rucker know a lot about. With a design background with Levi’s, the denim duo draws inspiration from vintage washes, but brings the jeans to 2017 with a flexible fit that claims to keep it’s shape all day. And after a week of personally living in the Abbott Kinney skinny, I happily agree. But don’t worry about these jeans falling into the jeggings category (ugh, shivers), because everything from hardware to pocket trims has been carefully selected and designed to complete the collection.

Have a see for yourself, the limited AND/OR collection is now available at John Lewis stores and online.
