At about 22:00 BST on Saturday, a white van hit pedestrians on London Bridge. Three men got out of the van and started stabbing people in nearby Borough Market. Police say these three men were wearing fake bomb vests.
The campaining for the national general elections has been temporarily suspended. The Prime Minister, Theresa May has immediately called for meeting of the government’s Cobra emergency committee later.
she has described Saturday night’s events as “dreadful“, while Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn called them “brutal and shocking“.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan said it was “a deliberate and cowardly attack on innocent Londoners“, but it remained the “safest global city” and Londoners would not be cowed by terrorism.
People stand together against such barbaric acts once more and show the real face of humanity.

Yes, UK was attacked right in its face but the emergency services have done a tremendous job by acting quickly and soundly to this situation.
More than 80 medics were sent to the scene and the injured, some of them critical, are now being treated in five hospitals across the capital. Even one of the police officer was stabbed as he was trying to help. Hopefully, his injuries are not life-threatening and should be able to recover soon.
Devastating to see lives lost but many more saved by the quick and professional response from our emergency services #LondonAttacks

But the question still remains unanswered – Is it going to go worse in coming days?
Why are we letting a bunch of cowards destroy our world & leave us to live our lives scared of what is going to happen next? #LondonAttacks
