Born on 25 November 1979, Nikhil Dwivedi has been an Indian actor and a producer. With his debut in My Name is Anthony Gonsalves in 2008, he has about five movie releases to his name.

Nikhil grew up in a service-oriented middle-class family where acting and films were never encouraged as a profession. After completion of MBA from Symbiosis, Pune, he was picked up by American Express Bank through the campus placements. He worked for AEB before moving on to work for a consumer electronics conglomerate. But Nikhil who was determined from a very young age to be an actor gave up all this to pursue a career in films. Without formal training in acting or modelling, Nikhil struggled big time to get a break in Bollywood.

He had to keep a secret about his role in the movie directed by E. Niwas and co-produced by Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies production house. However, he got nominated for the Best Male Debut award by Filmfare for this first movie. Nikhil Dwivedi’s venture “Hate Story” alongside direction of Vivek Agnihotri was a big success for him but his biggest appreciation came with Richa Chaddha commercially.
